WAKING UP FROM A GOOD NAP
how would you like it if you woke up to a camera right in your face? Bed hair and all.

I don't think people realize how difficult it is for me to take photos of my own children. Because I think EVERY single picture is cute! It's really hard to edit down the 'bad' shots if you know what I mean. But here are some of the best photos from a lazy Sunday afternoon. Lauren was in super good mood after she woke up from her nap, so I grabbed the camera and snapped away.
The wife got me a new Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens so I've been taking pictures of EVERYTHING..yes, including these two adorable dogs. Patches and Milo.
I shot some additional portraits for this beautiful family. As you can see, we had a 4th of July theme. The boys were as fun as the first time, too!
you can find the rest of the pictures on my FLICKR site.
I had the pleasure of shooting Jacob and Matthew at the park, and they were so photogenic! Jacob is 4 and Matthew is 2 years old. Usually brothers at this age can't wait to get away from each other, but the boys were super affectionate towards each other! Which made my job a lot easier.
I've known Melissa for about a year now and she is just full of positive energy. The photo session took place on Father's Day and we had so much fun! The weather was cooperating and we were able to get some great shots. Melissa is also a personal trainer who's responsible for whipping both my wife and I into shape, you can find more information on her training studio at www.perfectionfitnessrc.com
We finally had a break from June gloom and it was a perfect day for a portrait session with little Ryan. We were able to get some great shots of Ryan running around at the park, just being a kid!
Took this shot right outside of the new Daniel Libeskind's mixed-use project. Yes, 6 AM in Vegas. It was weird to see Vegas being practically empty.
